குயவனே குயவனே படைப்பின் காரணனே,

கண்ணோக்கிப் பார்த்திடுமே.

Heavenly Potter, Maker of all, You look down with mercy on me.

I, even I, this clod of clay, You look down with mercy on me.

வெறுமையான பாத்திரம் நான், வெறுத்துத் தள்ளாமலே.
நிரம்பி வழியும் பாத்திரமாய் விளங்கச் செய்யுமே
வேதத்தில் காணும் பாத்திரம் எல்லாம் இயேசுவை போற்றிடுதே
என்னையும் அவ்விதப் பாத்திரமாய் வனைந்து கொள்ளுமே
Verumaiyaana paathiram naan veruthu thallamale
nirambi valiyum paathiramaai vilanga ceyyume
vethathil kaanum paathiram ellam yesuvai  porriduthey
ennaiyum avvitha paathiramai vanainthu  kollume
Though just an ordinary vessel I be, You have not thrown me away
Filling me up and to overflowing, you have led me each day.
Just like the saints that I see in the Book, giving to Jesus, all praise,
Mould me and make me after Your will, to serve you all of my days.


விலைபோகாத பாத்திரம் நான் விரும்புவாரில்லையே
விலையில்லா உம் கிருபையால் உகந்ததாக்கிடுமே
தடைகள் யாவும் நீக்கி என்னைத் தம்மைப் போல் மாற்றிடுமே
உடைத்து என்னை உந்தனுக்கே உடைமையாக்கிடுமே.
Vilaipokata paathiram naan virumbuvaarillaye
Vilaiyilla um kirubaiyaal ukanthatakkidume
thadaigal yaavum neekki ennai thammaipol marridume
Udaithu ennai unthanuke udaimaiyakkidume
I did not wish to come to You, Lord, broken and in misery,
But it was only Your wonderful grace, that reached down and lifted me.
Taking away all hindrance and pride, Changing me to be like You.
You took my brokenness and in its place, my soul did completely renew.

கண்போன போக்கைப் பின்பற்றினேன் கண்டேனில்லை இன்பமே

I was bound by the love of the world, leaving the true way behind
Following all I just happened to see, but to His love I was blind.
This vessel who forever seemed lost, Lord You came seeking for me.
Now in Your footsteps alone I will walk, for now and eternity.
